The fourth season of Riverdale begins with a farewell to Fred Andrews (Luke Perry). As Independence Day approaches, Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) receives a phone call that will forever change his life. With support from his girlfriend, Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes), and best friends Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) and Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse), Archie continues his senior year at Riverdale High, which means varsity football games, cheerleading, college applications and mysteries galore, including Jughead's "murder" and a series of sinister videotapes making the rounds. But it also means family drama- with Betty's half-brother, Charles; Veronica's half-sister, Hermosa; Jughead's grandfather; and Archie's Uncle Frank- as well as the usual romance and high jinks that make life in "The Town with Pep" truly unforgettable.
